ShrewsburyFC 215
Hi all, Tonight I thought I would try out a bit of multiplayer! So I joined a lobby that was set up for Princess Juliana airport, but since I wanted a bit of a trek I started at a nearby airport and made my way there, little did I know what I was about to see parked on the runway! Thanks for viewing!!! Sam

mutley 4,498
Who was piloting the ship?! I am trying to make out if you are using the Fly Tampa scenery, that may explain it? Good shots though Shrews, made me laugh
PanzerFodder 0
You should have landed on it's deck, NOW! that would have been one hell of a shot . how are you finding the multiplayer? seem's to be a bit hit and miss when Sabre and I are trying to get a game going . Cheer's...Graham...
allardjd 1,853
The Liberator alone, climbing out in the first shot would have been surprise enough. John
ddavid 149
Great advert for FS-Shipyards, though... Cheers - Dai.
hurricanemk1c 195
The ship must be an amphibian........ The B-24 was the first thing I noticed - not too many of them around either!
dodgy-alan 1,587
Well there was a hurricane blown through the area recently so guess the ship got blown ashore! Assuming there was no damage to the hull the only way to shift her would be to wait for high tide then kedge her off. This involves running both anchors fully out and taking them by tug to an area deep enough to float the ship. The anchors are then dropped and the ships capstans are then used to pull the ship back out to sea.Its a painfull slow job and not always possible. I,v had to do it once when I was on a tanker that went aground in the Seine on the way to her berth further up. The skipper hit the roof and threw the french port pilot out of the bridge! it took us 4 hours to get the ship back into deep water. during that time we bent the tip of the rudder and washed out a riverside cafe with the wake!! BP got one hell of a bill for that I can tell you!
allardjd 1,853
The French harbor pilot probably received a pay raise, a promotion and two extra weeks vacation a year as a result.
