Soya 7
Hello fellow simmers, Enjoy this latest series of screen shots taken from my latest FSX video, Leaving Las Vegas. I hope you like the shots & the video, I put much time into this one but I enjoyed the challenge and it was visually a wonderful flight, the landscape from KLAS to KLAX is just so beautiful, I hope you will enjoy it too. (the shots are unedited but taken directly from the post processed video, so due to the compression, the shots are not as sharp as per usual, but at least it gives you an idea of what the images are like on the video, should you wish to watch it). Video is best watched in full screen at 1080p with volume turned up: Please feel free to comment and/or leave a vote on my youtube channel for this video, thanks. (If you liked the video, please send a link to your friends) Thank you for your time.

mutley 4,498
Lovely shots and great production on the video. I assume you are using Ezdok for those fabulous swooping pans? The scenery was awesome too, so clear and crisp, you must have a mighty powerful machine there Soya! Cheers, Joe

Soya 7
Great shots Soya - I liked the video! Cheers, its appreciated. Lovely shots and great production on the video. I assume you are using Ezdok for those fabulous swooping pans? The scenery was awesome too, so clear and crisp, you must have a mighty powerful machine there Soya! Cheers, Joe Thanks Joe, it was a challenging video to make but at least it came out well. I do not use EZdok, which I believe is payware, I use the cut-down version of the same program, which I believe is from the same company, EZwalk and it is freeware . I feel it is mainly down to getting the right settings to run for a specific hardware setup that get the most out of FSX (things like TBM = 4096, using Nvidiainspector to force proper AA & AF settings etc), it is also the addons that make up what FSX looks like today, with the right addons, you can really make your FSX look very pleasant. As for my rig, it is pretty decent but compared to nowadays standards, it certainly is not top dog anymore. If I had the money, I would go for a i7 990X 5Ghz overclocked watercooled setup with 2x GTX580's with 3072Mb of GDR5 memory, now that would be a mighty powerful setup & mighty powerful price tag too. Very nice video, just watched it full screen at 1080p and the detail was very good indeed  Cheer's...Graham... Thank you Graham, that is the only way to watch these HD videos . Shame though that due to video compression, I lose much of the clarity and sharpness of the original image. If you compare my normal screen shots (not the above) you can see that there is much less artifact and 'grain' in the picture and overall detail in the pictures is much higher then compared to the above taken shots which are taken after video compression. Still, can't end up with several Gb's of video data, leaving it uncompressed, and sending that to Youtube, their servers wouldn't be able to handle that much data, plus people would spend ages DL videos just to watch.
