PanzerFodder 0
Here's the other Egg Beater that I picked up at the "Nemeth Designs" sale at simware . It's a Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm Bo105, or "MBB BO-105" for short. (Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm, is now part of the Eurocopter Group) Dai gave me a bit of help to get this one into the air, so thanks for that m8y (still don't know what the hell I'm doing in it though, but it's been a lot of fun anyway ). All shots were made over the Orbx "PNW" scenery, clouds are provided by REX, and the repaint is one that I found at the Hovercontrol website. Cheer's...Graham...

ddavid 149
As you say, this is an excellent model of the "Giraffe" - the flight dynamics aren't quite as good as this, though: Don't try that at home... Nice shots, Graham - thanks for sharing. Cheers - Dai.
PanzerFodder 0
Nice video Dai . Did you try that Bo105 flight dynamics link that I gave you? you should be able to fly just like that if you use it , I have it on my desktop by have no idea where you have to copy/paste the text too . (the file is a little lacking in instructions to say the least ) Cheer's...Graham...
ddavid 149
Graham - I've not seen the flight dynamics as an XML file before. I'll have to do some digging... BTW, the Giraffe will loop, but you need a steep drop before trying - and I'm not sure about structural damage caused by the manouvre, even though the blades are carbon-fibre... Here's a sequence over Snowdonia - dropping to pick up speed: Pulling back at 160 KIAS (deinitely overspeed): Inverted: Recovery descent: And back to level flight: If I hadn't seen a video of the Bo-105 doing this, I wouldn't have believed it - there you go! Cheers - Dai. Cheers - Dai.

PanzerFodder 0
Impressive manoeuvre Dai, Indeed it is! I'm not sure if I would want to be a passenger in any Air Ambulance that Dai is flying though! Cheer's...Graham...
