PanzerFodder 0 Posted January 8, 2012 Report Share Posted January 8, 2012 Another plane that Sabre made me buy (and he really did this time, so big thank's to him for this one m8y ) This is the new A2A P40 Tomahawk at Duxford, this place seemed like a good choice for and old warbird like the P40 (BTW: it will bite you if you give it a chance too! ) Warming up the engine, but carefull as I don't want to overheat it. Here's the landing gear coming down, and what a fiddly job it is to do as well Lining up for a landing, or at least I'm trying to LOL Well thank god for that! I landed on the runway for once Almost time to shut that engine down, but just time for one last shot of the P40 at Duxford Cheer's...Graham... Link to post Share on other sites

PanzerFodder 0 Posted January 8, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 8, 2012 Yep, I had to put it on the jacks to figure out how that landing gear worked, coz I managed to retract it on the runway at one point, causeing a fair bit of damage to the plane and my ego . Cheers...Joe Hi Joe. It's a much harder plane to fly than the wop3 P47, but I really like this one and I bet JK has got a load of RAF repaints in the pipline already . Think that if your upgrading to the wop3 P40 you can get a good discount at the A2A site ( you just have to show them that you already have the wop2 version in your hanger to get $12 off ) BTW: You should see what the A2A guys have done to the ground roll effects on grass strips Thanks and Cheer's...Graham...
