UKJim 502
So thanks to one very kind member introducing me to the PDFKneeboard - I managed to grab a complete VFR chart of Seattle and convert it to PDF. Loaded this into the kneeboard and zoomed in - I could see all the strips and key points I needed. Away I went and taken some screenshots. The kneeboard will also show the points of reference I was using to fly. I must admit I did refer to the GPS once or twice just to make sure I was not getting lost as it was my first time doing this but only kept it up for a few seconds. I created the route in PlanG to show you the way I was going. Sorry the kneeboard may not be clear as the shots uploaded a bit smaller than expected. Starting out I am going to follow the valley out to Williams... Down to Arlington Muni... I believe this is Frontier airstrip... The lake above the label Heineck... Baseball anyone?... Harvey Field... Jim & Julie's strip... I think I need to follow that river down to Fall City (remember the waterfall behind the strip and it is on the chart too) Inside shot... Past Duvall... Golf Course nice .... First split off the main river in the chart... I can see the waterfall - WOOOOO!!! Turning in... On the approach... Easy does it... Touchdown... Taxi to the exit... Turning to the sheds... Hey old man give me a push... Thanks dude!!
