UKJim 502
Cheers john, I have the twotter but also have the Cargomaster - as the Cargomaster is cheaper I will prob go with that! John where do you get the details from? I search the web and find nothing! Thanks! Jim
allardjd 1,853
We have a sticky thread in the Just Flight AirHauler General Discussion forum called "What Does It Cost & How Much Does It Carry". It's the JF Support forum for AH. AH users have been posting AC data in that thread since April 2008. The thread is on the 5th page now. There are a LOT of AC listed. John EDIT: I should clarify. That forum is users helping users and though Slopey keeps an eye on it and the JF Tech Support guys watch it too, it's not their official Tech Support point of presence. The forum, as all the JF forums are, is paid for and monitored and maintained by JF as a service to their customers, but it was inaccurate of me to say that it is the support forum for AH - that's not "officially" the case. Tim_A 997
You should be aware though that although the Twotter is a STOL aircraft (I was flying it in an out of 250m strips in Antarctica), AH declares it to have a ludicrously long runway requirement of 1000m, which kinda defeats the point of it. Gud to no Tim - I think I'm going to get the Cargomaster instead! Then maybe the twotter after that! Plus I'm noon at landing so I'd need a 2000ft runway

There you go again with your bargain hunting - throwing temptation in the way of someone trying to keep on the straight and narrrow. Is this Twin Otter any good it's very tempting at $

allardjd 1,853
I believe that the AH runway requirement is only applicable to AI flights. You as pilot/owner are not restricted by it. John
