Andrew Godden 945 Posted March 23, 2012 Report Share Posted March 23, 2012 The MEBAR Organising Committee have decided to remove the 250 kt cruise speed limitation for aircraft eligibility in the event. All other Rules regarding aircraft eligibility remain unchanged. With the high performance of modern turboprop aircraft, the Committee considered the speed limitation to be too limiting and unrealistic.
