SEATAC 400
Love that movie! Got it on DVD. My favorite fighter jet of all time. The F-14!
M31 0
I have the film too, very enjoyable time travel adventure, also like the Tomcats, shame they are retired now. Love to do scale aircraft modelling as part of my pursuit of Aviation and bought the New Trumpeter 1/32 Tomcat (Bombcat) last year that I hope to build this year after finishing a few other kits, awesome model. Some pics I took of the kit for a model site unboxing, the box is as big as a suitcase and even has a carry handle! My own feline Tom Cat approves.
hurricanemk1c 195
Excellent clip - and Colin - make sure you post some shots of your kit building! I'm very interested!
M31 0
Excellent clip - and Colin - make sure you post some shots of your kit building! I'm very interested! I will, knew there were some other scale modellers here and have been meaning to post something about it for a while. I used to build scale models as a kid but in recent years took up the hobby again, started with 1/48 scale Aircraft before deciding to concentrate on 1/32 and also 1/12 Motorcycles but I did treat myself to the Tamiya 1/350 CVN 65 Enterprise Aircraft Carrier (that is also retiring now in real life) at Christmas time ... I think it was the Enterprise in the film The Final Countdown from that vid clip ... EDIT: it was the Nimitz in the film. I'm learning as I go along again, but here's a 1/48 Tamiya P-47D I built a while back before deciding to stick with 1/32 for Aircraft. I'll start an Aircraft Modelling thread in a more appropriate area here soon
