C-130 Herc. My First Full Flight

Hi guys, i know i haven't posted much here but i thought i should share these screenies i took of my new C-130 Herc from Just Flight. I took 24 shots in total so sorry if your Internet is a little slow at this point, you can blame that on me and my trigger happy finger :wink:

Anyway the flight is from Lyneham to St. Mawgan in the deep south west of England. I transported a Hummer and some 'troops' to their Air Base. So i hope you like the shots and let me know what you think at the end.

PS: I didn't edit these because there are too many and it would have took too long :sadblinky:

1st shot, not sure why i chose this shot, but i like the little tag on the fuselage

All engines up and running, just waiting for the troops and the massive Hummer to arrive

The Hummer is on it's way we are told, so we decided to open the rear hatch now before it gets here

Perfect timing :wink:

A view from afar as the Hummer gets tied down for out journey

Cleared to taxi as we catch a shot of the lovely scenery

Holding short awaiting clearance

Powering down the runway (V2)

Almost at our cruise altitude now for the short hop over the the west

Lovely and sunny up here today

Doesn't look quite as pleasant down there though does it?

Here we are descending to our destination

Air Base in sight but we are on the other side of the runway i'm afraid :sadblinky:

Passing the Base so we can line up for approach

Left turn to align ourselves with the runway

Seems to be a little breeze up here, we maybe in for some crosswinds

My suspicions were correct, still should be no problem for this beast

We touchdown safely on the runway lowering the nose slowly to the ground

At our gate now and everyone is exiting the aircraft

Right, every one's out, time to shut her down for the night

Hope you enjoyed the shots guys and i may be doing some edits of them if i have time so watch out for those as well :yes:

That's a great range of shots Luke and enjoyed the commentary too.

For a first flight in fat Albert you made an excellent job well done!
