dodgy-alan 1,587
I've recently been reading this enjoyable tome. For anyone interested in flying it should be compulsory reading! The auther goes into great detail about test flying the Vulcan, Nimrod and the HS748 among others. The HS748 section is fascinating as it details all the various conditions and problems associatied with demonstrating to potential customers in the remote airfields of South America. It also gives a fantastic insight to the eccentric Howard Hughes and his flights in the UK in the early 1970s. It really is a great book and very informative for us sim pilots. I thoroughly reccomend it. http://www.blackmanbooks.co.uk/tonyblackman_tp.asp
