dodgy-alan 1,587
The Royal Netherlands Air Force flight display is renowned in Europe, The Dutch pilots showing what could be done with a standard transport aircraft. This series of photos was taken at RAF St Mawgan/Newquay during the mid 90s, they are scanned from 35m prints so apologies for any deterioration....... Take off was spectacular, she didnt so much take off , more just remove the wheels! A large print of this photo won a photographic competition. You may notice that the smoke trail from the port engine is lighter, this was due to the fact that they were in the process of shutting down the engine before pulling up and rolling the aircraft upside down! I do have the photos of this somewhere but at the moment cannot find them. ( ! have over 10,000 photos in my files!) Thanks for viewing.

mutley 4,498
Oh wow, that was a low fly-past! F27's always used to fly over my house on their way from Southampton to Jersey, then they were mostly replaced by Viscounts, boy I feel old! Thanks for posting Alan you have quite a selection there, getting them digitised is a good Idea but sounds like a job for life! Cheers Joe
