Help please! Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog

Hi Guys, I'm a brand new Member so here I am on my first Solo. I have the Warthog and I'm trying to program it to FSX. I have TARGET and FSUIPC4 programing, but don"t know which way is the best to go. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Eddie

Welcome Eddie,

I have to say that I have no experience of this flight stick, it sure looks like a serious piece of kit.

For the few items I own I have always calibrated and set up using FSUIPC registered version.

It may be that TARGET can get more out of the stick, it's really trial and error.

Hopefully someone looking in has more experience than me.

Hi Guys, Thanks for the input. Right now I'm running on my Saitek X52. It is a great controller and It should be for $500.00. I have TARGET software from Thrustmaster which I will try and figure it out. The throttle has reverse thrusters with a ton of switches. I didn't think it would be hard to program. Thanks, Eddie

Hy Guys, I finally figured out how to program the Warthog using FSUIPS4. I'm still experimenting with the many switches on the Warthog. I'm always changing something. On another note, I have FSX, amoung others, and I found out I would lose some great flights due to 'Fatal Error'. I would toggle back and forth with the 'Main Menu' and this would screw things up. I have everything programmed into the Thrustmaster that I need for a great flight with no problem. If you are having this problem, stay away from the main menu and use the semicons.
