Working in a DC-3

Recommended Posts

Today's work orders would take me from Tofino B.C. (CYAZ) to Woss (CAK4) to Port Hardy (CYTZ). My second trip would go from CYTZ to Abbotsford B.C. (CYXX).

The weather was junk and made for some interesting flight into Woss.

Crack of Dawn departure using a DC-3 rented in FSE, with a Buffalo Airways paint.

Heading into Woss and had to dodge some mountains. Too bad they wont move for me.

Woss up ahead, gravel runway with a length of 2499ft it's a tight fit, but I'm just hauling passengers so the DC-3 is light

It's well known that mountains often hide in clouds

BC makes for some nice flying, if you don't mind going over mountains or around them.
