wtr49p 0
Hi Guys, I have a problem. I purchased REX2 when it first came out. I was using a different pc at the time when the hard drive went out. So I built a new one, was time to update anyway. So, I had the DVD for REX2 and installed it. Now the update has come out and I do not have the info from my purchase as the hard drive crashed. I do not remember anymore where I purchased it from, (old age I guess, lol)... Does any one have an idea how I might be able to approach REX to ask them about this? John wtr49p
britfrog 180
a good product but I wonder how many actually had to re-intall at least once before it ran correctly? it is such a pity that a good product is spoilt because the installation or installation instructions are incomprehensible to the average idiot like me. they have know clarified some of the instructions and that allowed me to get a good installation, but this should have been suused before release. It should be compulsory for devs to have at least one person on the beta team who has two left hands and no brain.
MartinW 0
Personally, I didn't bother with the update, I just went straight to the flightsimstore and installed a fresh copy. Easier that way, and I have my backup as one install rather than updates. Took days before I could get the server to favor me and grant me the pleasure of the download, but just did a quick test and it seems much better, more polished
wtr49p 0
But, that's the problem. I purchased the "DVD" online and it was physically mailed to me, but I do not remember where I purchased it and have no backup info on it because my old hard drive with the info died. I keep bu info of everything I purchase on the pc, but lost all the older info because of the loss of the hard drive. John wtr49p
