dodgy-alan 1,587
I was musing the other day as to what aircraft I would love to see at least once on the airshow circuit. This is one of them , the Avro Lancastrian, here we see BOACs "Norfolk" doing her display at Duxford. Parked on the ramp for the morning walkabout. later she's moved back to a parking area before the display, Starting the engines, the Big Rolls Royce Merlins rumble into life taxying past an appreciative audience take off a dramatic Knife-Edge pass then a slow dirty pass round again and this time she's fast and low! roaring along the crowd line then pulling up to begin her flight home A while later and she's up at 15'000ft and cruising for home Autopilot set, time for a coffee as the Lancastrian flies home. thanks for viewing. hurricanemk1c 195
Great shots Alan - what Duxford is that? Some interesting aircraft on the ramps. Also, where's the Lanc from? Always wanted one....
dodgy-alan 1,587
Thanks Kieran, these are all freeware items. This is the file for Duxford acg_iwm_duxford_fs9.zip the FSX version acg_iwm_duxford_fsx.zip this is the Lanc http://www.britsim.c...ro-Lancastrian/ there are also several repaints available. Note, there is a peculiarity of the Duxford file (in FS9 certainly)in that at certain angles or after a certain distance away, the AI aircraft dissapear! I have no idea why this is the case and cannot find a way of preventing it. But it is a good file nonetheless.
