    Reviews

I can honestly say that the importance of reviews go way beyond the imagination, being new to FSX I have spent several months playing, reading experimenting and one thing that keeps coming to the front is the difference in quality and not just graphics but the ability to get that feeling of actually flying a plane. I have read quite a few reviews and have been trawling the forums looking for information and it would be so easy to spend, spend, spend and end up with a lot of unwanted software. So keep those reviews going they do help especially those who are not familiar with the different deve

    tree's

I have been looking around and have seen that there is scenery (Tree's) available for the uk from earth simulations. I see that it is suitable for generation x scenery, can anyone tell me if there is large decrease in performance if they are installed. Regards

    LSJ's

Thank you for the comments, I believe the scenery is Generation x which at times looks stunning. I can honestly say I have been amazed at the quality of software being developed.

Well been messing for a few days and as you can see my father has a love of things with propellers and noisy smelly engines, something which over the years rubbed off on me... I keep getting drawn towards the P36 Hawk it looks beautiful even though can't help but feel there is something missing that makes it fantastic and it is a bit ugly in some ways, my father said I always had something about unusual looking and awkward things needless to say my father and my wife tend not to get on.. Sorry for the sizes resized them then realised they were a bit big and could not be bothered to do it again
  6. Hell some of them look pretty damned real..
  7. Thank you for the information so far. I have been messing with FSX for several weeks well actually it's its several months, how time flies when you

  10. Thank you for your comments and welcomes and looking around at forums and informative sites this is really up there when it comes to realistic and genuine attitude. Well a question on the flightsim development in general. Can someone give me some thoughts on where the flightsim community and developers are going, well let

    Oh Yes!

Thank you. I must admit the graphics are pretty good and that's a compliment to all the software developers, and they are untouched other than reduced and converted to jpg. I am not that experienced when it comes to flight simulation but computers I am ok with and this is only a mid range machine but it gives quite an impressive performance. Thank you for your responses and hell what an insight to what is available out there.. I have FSX installed along with much more software of which I am slowly investigating. I have spent a few weeks messing around and really got into the world of flight simulation. I do know I probably need a few upgrades to get up to a reasonable pace, but then feel that at this moment I am quite close to what I need, there are several scenery packages and one of those being AustriaX and I can see that its quite detailed and I tend to get a reasonable performance while flying in that area, it also has an env

Hello to everyone, I am quite new to the flightsim community. I persuaded my father that he was too old and dilapidated for messing with flight simulators and that he should donate it to me, and bless him he did, but seriously there is another reason other than his cruel son prising it out of his hands, honestly!! I know he spent a lot of money on the software and the computer is I would say mid range in the performance arena. Well after messing with it to my surprise the quality is far beyond what I really expected and I have enjoyed experimenting so far but have about 4875 questions to ask
