  1. Is that tileproxy the app that brings Google earth data into FSX...?
  2. Yep, great sound memories there. Used to be a static at St Athan too that was great for sheltering under from the rain...

    Yes or No

You wont lose any quality from non HD encoded stuff. A HDCP capable graphics card (together with a HDCP aware OS, i.e. Vista, and a HDCP equipped monitor) are just parts of the chain to enable you to view HDCP encrypted HD content on a PC. Without one 'link' in the chain you can't play HDCP encoded material, simple as that. Everything else, i.e. SD DVDs, games etc. have nothing to do with HDCP and are not affected by it in the least. Games are not HDCP encoded, they have no reason to be. You can output a game at the highest resolution your monitor will support irrespective of a HDCP card

    Yes or No

Having a HDCP capable card doesn't 'place' anything on you it simply allows a HDCP path if you so wish to play such content - it doesn't do anything to your system.
  5. My screens wont be quite that big...
  6. It's not a chargeable battery so doesn't lose it's charge (well, eventually it would) - you taking it out for 8 days was no different than all the other CR2032's sitting in their blister packs on the shelf behind the till in Boots for months on end... The battery is fine.
  7. Depends on what you want to do. If you want to stretch the view across the both then things will be out - if you just want to use one for scenery and the other for panels then all is fine. Got a 24" and a 15" setup at the moment, no issues. Will be moving the main display across 3 screens soon via a Triple Head 2 Go and using the 24" for panels
  8. But I doubt if the battery suddenly died because you took it out - they last a long time...
  9. Replied in the JF forum...
  10. Cheers for that, looks like I may go for the Just Flight sets then - would imagine the scenery not lining up to be a major pain. Thanks again.
  11. Thanks for the reply and the warm welcome... yep, will try my best to keep him on his toes... :mrhappy:
  12. Mut', what airport/airfield is that... Looks nice for a visit.
  13. :mrhappy: see I can't escape you here either... Yep, nice board...
  14. Howdy folks, first post here so be kind to me... :mrhappy: Wanted to ask this for a while but didn't feel the Just Flight forum an appropriate place for obvious reasons... Which of the two, i.e. the Just Flight VFR for FSX or the Horizon package is regarded the better...? Cheers chaps... Edit: Ooh, notify on reply option, nice board feature. Just Flight, you listening...
