Bruce (a.k.a. brian747) 142
Professional Flight Planner X is (finally) released! The Aerosoft announcement can be found here (buy directly from their online store): the flightsimsoft pricing (and bundles) can be found here. (You may have to keep trying the flightsimsoft link, since it's getting heavily hammered as I write this, but the Aerosoft link seems to be weathering the storm....). Discounts..... As I understand it, two categories of people are entitled to a discount — but you have to be careful to buy from the correct online store. Existing TOPCAT customers need to buy directly from flightsim.com, since Aerosoft can't tell whether you qualify or not. Members of a VA with a special arrangement with Aerosoft need to claim their discount by buying from Aerosoft themselves (using the discount code obtained from your VA). Let the Planning begin! Bruce (a.k.a. brian747) 142
Update, 30th August — a) v1.03 of PFPX was released this morning. (If you have it installed, it should check and then invite you to download it, but you will need to uninstall your previous version before you can install the new version. And when you look in the Micro$oft uninstaller you won't find it under either Aerosoft or PFPX, you'll need to look for "Professional Flight Planner X"). b) Some users have reported problems with the original version of the Navigraph AIRAC 1309 PFPX data, problems which have allegedly been fixed by a re-release of the PFPX Navigraph installer (by no means the first time Navigraph have done that to us, unfortunately!).
