This flight will go on to KALB for pickup and then onto Boston.

I am using Cap'n Mike Ray's 737NG training syllabus to get a better grip on my training and learning.

Expensive @£35, but just about one of the best manuals available to the simmer.

Great shots, James!    :thum:

I am a Mike Ray enthusiast, since I think his visual approach to teaching is well-suited to most simmers. Well it certainly suits me, anyway.   ;)   I reviewed one of his first books in PC Pilot magazine some years ago now, and he asked them for my email address so that he could thank me personally — a true gentleman.   :)

> Expensive @£35.....

Hmm — you reckon? As I used to say to people who thought my consultancy fees were heavy. "Expensive, but worth it"!    :P

And anyway, have you see the price of the PMDG "Chief Pilot's set" of manuals for the 777? Reduced (!!) to $389.99 USD, which is just over £240. Plus shipping from the U.S., which is another £80, I'm told, added to which Her Majesty's delightful customs folk will then zap you with import duty and maybe VAT.....

So I thought I'd pass on that one!   :wacko2:

Cheers,

Bruce

I agree with you Brian that £35 is not expensive for such good understandable teaching that is right down to earth for a simmer.

But I will definitely pass on those PMDG manuals for the T7.  I have done a lot of importing from the USA in my other hobby Model Trains

and customs have me on a get James computer as I have had to pay for every one.  That's 20%VAT plus 8% import on the value and to top it all

Parcelforce adds a nice little earner of £12 to deliver it to you..
