Sunrise at Stonehenge

Recommended Posts

Hiya

OK, this is my first attempt at posting a picture (fingers crossed).

Thought I'd do a quick circuit from Goodwood to Salisbury Plain and back this morning.  Just as the sun rose, the ancient stone circle at Stonehenge became visible below me.

Even without Rex, its not a bad pic

ps. as I use a triple head to go, the photo is 3 times the width of a normal pic so you'll need to scroll right to see it all.

Question... do I do the same thing if I wanted to enter the screenshot competitions?

I know that I need to make it about 1200 pixels wide in total but is the process still as I have added the image above ?

Sorry.. being a bit of a numpty here..

It looks like a little help in the right direction is need, so just follow.  First you need a good easy upload site and the best is here:

This will take you to your pictures library.

Then select the photo by just holding your mouse over it and it will turn light blue.  If you want multiples then just hold the Ctrl key and highlight what you want.

After you press open it will take you to a box where the codes for the selection will display.  Then just press upload button

The next page is where it will load into OZx, scroll down until see BBCode place mouse over BBcode and right click.

Just copy the code and then go back to Mutley's and paste the code in the page. the code will appear not a picture.  The picture will display after you post.

Nice wide shot, very majestic looking. :thum: Nice job on figuring image posting out, all uphill from here, looking forward to more. :)

You can link your image just the same as you did above or edit the image first before linking, I use the freeware Paint.net for this. Note: Only superficial edits are allowed (re-size, minimal sharpen etc), nothing over the top i.e not composite shots.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I will try it out with some other pics soon. Took a few moonlit photos for the screenshot comp when landing in Hong Kong but realised it almost impossible to see the plane so back to the drawing board.

I'll persevere :)
