dodgy-alan 1,587
On Germanys Eastern front in 1943 and one of the few Blohm and Voss BV141s is on a recce flight looking for Russian incursions. Very few of these aircraft were built as the contract for production went to the more conventional FW189. Also there was a shortage of the BMW-801 engines and those were also needed for the FW190 fighters. It was however a very good aircraft and did exactly what it was designed to do. Political manipulation by Focke-Wulfs team made sure that the BV141 remained an also-ran! Start up, take off turning onto course Down in the weeds Great view out! Checking the area Heading North destination in site touchdown taxying in Parked on the ramp Thanks for viewing
