how to change your simming outlook in one fell swoop

Recommended Posts

a month or two back one of my dogs knocked one of my monitors from the desk trying to get at the chocolate digestives that i left on the desk before going shopping   DOH!

the end result is that it has been getting worse and worse taking ages to produce a picture.

So hardened my heart and ordered another Asus monitor

well all I can say Is WOW!!

the new one is backlit so brighter, 1 ms reaction time and 144hz speed talk about changing your simming !!!. run your mouse across the screen and it is rock solid, no blurring.

If i lower the speed to 100hz i can use my 3d glasses , and that is altogether a new experience in FSX, verl vely interesting

I am ever such a happy camper today

Good for you BF, advances in monitor technology have come on leaps and bounds in the last few years so it's always worth looking for an upgrade before the old one goes TU, they are so cheep nowadays.

Joe you are dealing with the original Ebeneezer W Scrooge here , i just traded in my cats whisker radio, so anything more than five  pounds makes me go pale at the thought of releasing all those most carefully imprisoned moths in my wallet. I even tried temporarily wafting naptha balls near it to make them sleep but to no avail, I have had to leave my wallet in out-patients where it is getting a blood transfusion.

Having done lots of research on the net , i do use Amazon quite a lot due to my location for a reliable service, and good prices and warrantee, however I found the monitor at my local store for 50 pounds less than amazon.

Did I say fifty pounds?
