rfresh737 4
Hi Ralph - Welcome to Mutley's and thanks for the heads up on your NGX tutorial videos - I see that you like Screencast-O-Matic. Make yourself at home, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. Cheers - Dai. Hi Dai Yes, I'm using Screencast-O-Matic. Then I load that .mp4 file into Movie Maker (Microsoft's product) and do my initial edits and cuts and insert captions were needed, etc. Then the HD video is released to my 5 reviewers for input and comments. I then take in all of their comments and re-do the video in Screencast-O-Matic and Movie Maker again. That produces the final HD release which makes up to my YouTube Channel. This is the process for each video that I release. My reviewers are very experienced flight simmers, and have been flying the PMDG 737NGX for a long time. I put together the structure of the videos following the training concepts I used when I worked for the airlines and Boeing, and together with their systems and procedural knowledge, double checking my presentation, we end with a pretty good training video. They have been well received in the sim community. I hope anyone here who is interested in learning more about the 737NGX will enjoy them too. And thanks to all you who replied to my initial post with your warm welcomes!!
