Thanks Andrew for a comprehensive, well written review. If I didn't already have CS's L1011 I would buy it today on the strength of your comments. As you say, the interior and exterior modelling is beautifully done, the cockpit night lighting is pure eye candy. On my mid range PC it out performs lesser detailed ac along with the other CS ac in my hanger; 707, 727,737, 777. Performance charts and checklists would be the icing on the cake.

 

Although it was a medium to long range ac, I understand BA used it on the London to Paris route, so for those, like me, who don't have the time for long hauls can take it for a quick and enjoyable spin.

 

For those who like the classics, this is a must have.
