Gatwick Tower - Part 1

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

Air Traffic Control (from now on known as ATC) is the worlds most stressful job. In this 24-part series, I'll be in London Gatwick Tower, handling Ground. A common feature at the end of all outbound flights is : J. Contact Tower on 124.225, have a nice flight!

Well, that's what I say.

So, here we are in the tower at Gatwick. This is the worlds buisest single runway airport. I've been having problems with my WoAI, so all the traffic is Traffic 2005, using the Traffic 2005 medium-sized airport tower, which, as always, doesn't fit into Gatwick tower!!!!!

We'll start off by looking around the airport from our tower

So far, I've handled 41 aircraft, 27 out and 13 in. Using my strips, I logged all the aircraft (Flight Number/Time/IN or OUT). The default ATC made me mad, so I muted the whole sim!
