patrico 8
Hi Everyone, Sometimes after spending quite a long time with my pre-flight and then just as I am about to pushback I discover that my yoke and throttle are no longer responding which necessitates a restart of FSX. Is there any short-cut to reloading it that does not involve reloading FSX
mutley 4,487
Unplug and replug the USB should do it?
needles 1,010
Hi Patrick, Are you running fsuipc? I've found that since using it, and making sure that 'enable controllers' is deselected in FSX settings, I don't have that problem. I bet though, the next time I fire FSX up, they stop working ha ha. patrico 8
Unplug and replug the USB should do it? it does not work Joe, I have tried it on 2 different occasions. I have to use the nuclear option lol close and restart FSX
mutley 4,487
That's a shame, perhaps Brian's option will work?
needles 1,010
Patrick, this is just a stab in the dark and one I presume you already know about but, have you got the yoke plugged in to a USB2 port? If it is in a USB3 port it won't work. All Saitek stuff needs USB2 for some reason. Also, have you got the yoke plugged straight to a USB port on the PC rather than through a hub? This could also affect reliability. As I said above, these are just stabs in the dark, but I hope you get it solved.
patrico 8
Done that Brian plugged the Saitek USB directly into my computer rather than a hub, fingers xed so far its working, early days yet (48 hrs)
