On his recommendation purchased REX 4 with my ASN. For the last 6 months I have not switched it on, do I need to switch it on eveerytime it and what about the addon for REX called fluffy clouds. mutley 4,487 Posted February 9, 2015 Report Share Posted February 9, 2015 Hi Patrick, REX4 Texture Direct is purely a program that creates high quality cloud/sky/water/runway textures to replace the default FSX ones. So, REX 4 needs to be be run once to update the stock textures in the sim. If you wanted to try a different set of sky colours or clouds then you would run REX4 again to update your FSX files. As for Soft Clouds, they are essentially a new set of low level clouds that as you said are a lot more fluffy. They are not essential but I like them. Link to post Share on other sites
