SEATAC 400
Leg 10 of the trip takes us from Barcelona to La Palma on the island of Mallorca off the coast of Spain. We are flying the MD-88 in Iberia Livery, as it is a Spanish airline and I thought it Appropriate. Taxiing at Barcelona Here is the Aivlasoft ground diagram showing us as taxiing onto RW 25R Climbout It is a very short flight of just 123NM so we just make it to our cruise alt of 18,000ft as we start our descent with a couple of very serious looking pilots in a very dirty aircraft. The island of Mallorca off to the port side as we descend through 8,640ft, Now at 5,000 ft After landing, crossing RW 6C as a 737-600 comes in for landing on 6L Parked at gate 43. Block to block was only about 46 minutes Next stop: Murcia Spain and then onto Gibraltar! But first some R and R for our weary pilots in this beautiful vacation destination. Captain Coffee 2,030
So very badly want to trace "Wash me" in that dirt with a damp finger tip Nice shots! (Does anyone make a model that gets Dirtier over time? That would be pretty cool to have to actually Wash the Plane once in a while. )

Bruce (a.k.a. brian747) 142
Another great trip and great screenshots, Richard! It's good to see another Ailvasoft user, too. But before our Spanish members start leaping up and down may I mention a small point of geographical nomenclature — > "...from Barcelona to La Palma on the island of Mallorca..." Er.... I think you were actually flying to Palma de Mallorca (LEPA) in the Ballearic islands, and not La Palma (GCLA) which is a totally different place. (It's in the Canary islands — also Spanish, but a very different proposition from the landing point of view, with a 7,200 ft runway and only an NDB to help you in. Aerosoft have produced the scenery for it, if you're up for a challenge). (No worries, it's just a European thing — we're trying to confuse you. We even confuse ourselves). Cheers, bruce a.k.a. brian747
