Due to the arguement between the F-22 and Typhoon, we'll put it to a vote.

if i were being country biased id first and foremost, every time, choose the Typhoon over any aircraft, and on paper this would be true.

However, matched against a more formidable opponent, and the only worthy opponent on the planet (in my opinion), the Typhoon really does have a job to do to take a victory.

Both aircraft are really exceptional, both verge on the impossible and push aeronautical limits to the boundary (and even beyond)... but at the bitter end, i have to say that the F-22a has, at the moment, got my vote.

i know, shoot me for being such a traitor, but it has to be said, the F22 Raptor kicks ass, unfortunately this time it was the Typhoon's.

dont fret JPS, Dgor's quoting some obscene myth thats been doing the rounds since the Typhoon's conception into service.

IT has, and always will be, fully capable of all weather flight, its a multi-role air superiority fighter and interceptor - what good would the ol' 'phoon be defending the UK as a QRA (which it now is!) if we had a couple TU-95s doing a recce over Scotland... what with good old English weather being so predictable and all...

And just to show that it can fly in the rain, take a peek at this lovely video from a friend i know...
