Best 737-300 and 757

Recommended Posts

Hi Luke,

I don't think there is a great choice for the 733 but the 737 Pilot In Command - Evolution comes to mind http://www.justflight.com/product/737-pilot-in-command---evolution-deluxe-edn.-with-airlines-pack

The only 757 I can think of is the Captain Sim version http://www.captainsim.com/products/x757/ but I don't think it is that complex.

Hopefully we will get some suggestions!

Regarding the 737-300, Qualitywings are developing the 737 Classic series, not sure how close to release, but they do post quarterly status updates on their forums, with the next one at the end of September. Either the Qualitywings 757 or the Captain Sim one should be ok, I have the Qualitywings one, but I believe the Captain Sim one is also of a high quality.

Hope this helps

Regards

Peter

The QW 757 has many liveries and freight versions, the CS also comes with many liveries but fewer freighters.  I have both and TBH there's not much difference in terms of complexity and features but I have to say that my favourite is the CS version purely for its far better visual appearance.

That's useful info — thanks, Geoff!     :)

But Bruce/Brian for a real pro as yourself I think you'd find them in the mid range in terms of complexity/functionality.

TBH the mid range suits me fine because my simming time is limited, I'm cream crackered at the end of the day and my befuddled brain cannot deal with a fully procedural aircraft. Having said that, I always read your entertaining and informative posts to see how it's done proper like. :thum:

Thank you for the compliment, Geoff, but in fact I am in awe of *all* simmers. OK, I have speciaised in a niche situation for a very long time becuse I happen to love the 744 almost exclusively, but all of us face challenges (lack of time being perhaps the foremost). :(

Mid range or any range, we're all united by our love of aviation, and it's great to be able to share our... Hobby? Passion? Addiction? (Whatever) ...with others here at the Hangar. :)

All power to your elbow, my friend, and I would love to hear more of your experiences, because we're all on a continuous learning curve. It's good to share, and huge thanks to Joe for providing us with a forum for us to chat to each other. :D

All the best,

B.
