wisemanp 0
Hello everyone, remember me? I have arrived back in England and will be on here a bit more now i hope! Waiting for the boat back Now into Austria, staying in Fulpmes just above Innsbruck in the Tirol. This valley in the picture is called the Pinnis! Where we had lunch in the Pinnistal The Bergisel Ski Jump in Innsbruck, twice used for the Winter Olympics The church in Mutters where we had dinner one evening The start of the world famous Kitzbuhel downhill ski run A very precise distance to the level crossing! And again! Appraching from the other direction I don't want to have problems with the farmer! Our tram reflected in the one infront We're now in Switzerland, a place called Samedan. This is a picture of the Piz Palu taken through my binoculars! Mountains above St. Moritz This taken from Diavolezza on/above the bernina Pass Beautiful Glaciers! allardjd 1,853
Great photos, Phil! Very interesting. If they aren't making some serious hydro-electric power in Locarno they're missing a heck of an opportunity - but I don't think the Swiss EVER miss an opportunity, so I suspect that they are. wisemanp 0
Thanks guys, I really enjoyed the holiday and being in the mountains. Kieran-I will get them up as soon as I can-could be this evening. I wouldn't call myself a spotter but more an enthusiast, but I suppose spotter just about covers it... hurricanemk1c 195
Hi Phil! That's OK - I'll wait. I'm also a rail enthusiast and a spotter since I was young, and I go down to my local station every Friday  Kieran

mutley 4,495
Kieran-twice today, I've tried posting the pics but twice IE7 has crashed...I will keep trying but it takes a while annotating all the pictures! That's a shame Phil. Don't forget there is a save post feature you can use whilst posting or create it in notepad first? Good luck

wisemanp 0
Hey guys. On attempt 3 of posting rail shots, I was using the tactic of doing it in notepad first. Had nearly finished, with detailed descriptions of them all, when the computer crashed! I was also 2 hours into a flight from Seoul to HKG Kai Tak. Lets hope attempt 4 works!
