weekend trip to Ireland

Recommended Posts

So I tried another trip out in the A320, all was well except the landing again, I keep coming in to high, gone through lots of you tube videos and the manual and wrote a mini manual for myself that is not solely aimed at the tutorial flight, some things in the tutorial are not needed so they just say 'we dont use that this flight' but dont explain what it does or does not do. Any way I went on a tangent there... so this is a flight from EGGD-EICK using ASN for weather and PFPX for the planning, I think the next one wont be for Easyjet  as I want to see one or two other paints.......we have the climb, a window view over Ireland(I actually initiated descent too soon), a look over the sea and finally the gear coming down.....(hopefully no typos this time Matt......)tocork1.jpgtocork2.jpgtocork3.jpgtocork4.jpg

Gorgeous shots...and for the record...I am Not a spellzing Nazi...I will only comment on spelling "funnies", not errors. :D

Dyslexics can't throw stones in that regard. :whis:

Matt ...I wasnt complaining I actually couldnt stop laughing at my last mistake that you saw...

Cheers people I am enjoying learning the 320... managed a perfect landing yesterday... felt really good...told the wife she looked at me like "big deal"...

Lol great shots and I know exactly what that feels like when the wife just doesn't get it ;)

My wife is exactly the same - if I start talking flight sim; I swear she starts falling asleep there and then lol.

I need to take the bus out soon!

Most of my friends (not married, and have no expectation that my cat will "get it") don't seem all that jazzed when I post a video or screen to my facebook page...lots of Yawns. But my "godbrother" visited a couple weekends ago and flew my sim around for a little while. He had started taking private pilots license lessons some years ago, and handled a Carenado C337 take off and landing like a pro. He was pretty impressed with the sim...but I think he was more impressed with my home roasted coffee, and has become a home roaster, and been posting FB pictures of his latest roasts since then, and no comments whatsoever about flight simming while at "Coffee's place"...sigh.

Matt, home roasted coffee and simming, life is good......people I know are interested, for a few minutes then their eyes glaze over...we are a breed apart or just mad, mind you I dont understand my wife obsession with antiques....

Al I have left the bar as a prompt whilst I am learning this one....
