Captain Coffee 2,030
Simple but attractive livery...love that graphic tail and the flag colors. Looks like a stubby 747...is the SP model a shortened less passenger/more fuel version or something?
dodgy-alan 1,587
The SP was an ultra long range version of the 747. They carried less passengers but more fuel. Many of the survivors are now used as flying gin palaces by rich Arabs. the shortened fuselage also meant that the tailfin needed to be bigger as did the tailplane which was repositioned. Not to be cofused with the 747SR which used mainly in Japan for very high density short range flights. They carried extra passeners all in coach class but less fuel. Externally they were the same as a standard 200 series. http://www.747sp.com/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_747SP
