Verona-Gatwick

Recommended Posts

Airbus A321 of Alitalia in the retrojet scheme. Departed Verona, Northern Italy around 15:30 local time, after departure took a short excusion along Lake Garda but due to low cloud this proved fruitless and we climbed out and headed for Gatwick, London. flown in real time, the trip took just over 3 1/2 hours. Upon landing the ground control tried to marshall me onto a gate already occupied! Therefore disobeyed instructions and found an unnocupied slot! Here's how it went.

We start as we begin to rolle at Villafranco, Verona Airport......

Thanks Guys, it was a real challenge doing that, Often my PC will run out of rams or something after a long flight like that and freeze up, however on this occasion it behaved itself. Once I'd got her up to altitude I set the autopilot and got on with other things, just hitting the V button every so often. It was fun to do though, and made a change from the usual trainers and fast jets I usually play with.
