Pacific and Tongass Fjords

Yes, nice ones. First is my favorite. Btw, when flying this things, how do you know where to touch down? Or you put it down anywhere near and then just sail? :)

Depends how far you can swim right?

Interesting question and I'll be interested in the answer too.

Nicely done, re landing , just look for an open stretch of water, thankfully in FS you don't have to look out for submerged hazards like rocks or logs as you would in real life. just remember the only brakes you have are your flaps so unless you intend to beach, make sure you have plenty of room for the landing run and keep your speed as low as possible. keep the aircraft slightly nose up on touchdown so as not to dig in! Above all, don't do this!

In FSX, the right place of the "water runway" is shown on your GPS if you have one. But Air Hauler doesn't force you to land on this precise spot to consider your mission done.

When it's a place where I come for the first time, I usually make a first low altitude overflight to see what it looks like and choose where to "land" depending on the wind. To be near reality I usually sail the plane to the seaplane wharf. On this picture, I didn't take the time as I needed to take off quickly to fly to another place where I had some goods to load and take back to Sitka.

After this, as Alan said, it's a matter of experience to estimate how much water you need to come to a stop. Although this one being an amphibian you can lower down the wheels once in the water, navigate to the shore and hop on the ground or a boat slip ... I've done it often with the Goose.
