hurricanemk1c 195
Hi all! G-BOAD, the Concorde in New York, has had the forward 90% of it's composite nose ripped off. More here http://www.concordesst.com/latestnews.html and here http://nycaviation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=12589 Currently, the aircraft is in open storage due to the muesum being renovated. People who visit Concorde say this : " The area around the aircraft is fenced off, and there is a small pool behind the left wing. There are children running around the ground around the plane, BOUNCING BALLS OFF OF THE PLANE. Those rubber dodge balls, hard-rubber footballs, right off of the engines, the wings and the fuselage. hello_basil 0
I find it hard to understand how the "aviators complex" could lose interest and thus neglect such a stunning aircraft, a super-sonic commercial aircraft? Its not any old Cessna?!!?! :dance2: Regards, Theo.
