Hi lads. It has been a very long time since I have posted some screenies, so I thought, why not do a flight and test some night textures I had been working on? Well, here are the results, hope you enjoy them. Our flight tonight is AC896, an A330 service from Vancouver to London. Flight tome tonight is a quick 8 hours and 26 minutes.

Our flightplan, Company Route 2 tonight.

At gate 50, the walking freight self-loading.

Pushing back, the Trent on the port starting up.

Taxiing out, flaps and slats set, TO config is set.

Turning onto the 2600 metre long 26R.

Accelerating through 80 knots past the UPS hangar.

Airborne!

Taking a look back, our A330 looks long like this.

Climbing out over the beautiful city of Vancouver.

Leaving behind the Pacific.

Cruising over some clouds.

Over Hudson Bay.

Tracking East.

Step climbing over Eastern Canada.

The freight wakes up as we pass over Birmingham, by now we are talking to Manchester.

Descending over the green pastures of England.

The South ahead.

Turning over London.

Hitting some murk at around 4000 feet.

Emerging from the murk over Stanstead.

Passing CF27R.

Tracking the Localiser.

Gear and flaps down.

Down, a good landing, smooth but off the centreline, alright considering I hadn't flown this plane since June.

Turning off just outside T3, a quick taxi in.

Parked up next to an A330 from Calgary.

I loved the departure shot with the runways in the background, great angle.

You made great job with the textures, they do look good at night :mrhappy:

I really enjoyed the flight, shots and commentary, it's nice to see the whole thing posted.

Lovely flight.

I agree with Mut about the climbout shot, great view of the city and you can pick out Downtown.
