wisemanp 0
Earlier today I attended a civic reception for Olympic Rower Zac Purchase, who won Gold in the Lightweight Double Sculls in Beijing. He had an open top bus tour of my town, Tewkesbury, as he comes from a local village, and then an invitation-only reception at the council offices. I was lucky enough to be nominated to represent my school! I managed to have a photo with me wearing the Gold Medal, and chance to speak to an Olympic Champion If I manage to get hold of the digital copy of the photo I will undoubtedly post it here! If anyone else has similar experiences, I would love to hear of them!
