Lukemeister 6
Please can I have some help installing this? I'm now ready to pull my hair out and i've been on it for hours. I'd post on the developers forum but i'm still waiting for my confirmation email. So i'm installing MT6 into FSX:SE. I've followed the manual down to the letter. My installation path for MT6 is: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\MyTraffic\MyTraffic I then had to edit my scenery.cfg file to show: [Area.139] Title=MyTraffic Local=D:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\MyTraffic\MyTraffic\Scenery Active=TRUE Required=FALSE Layer=137 (That's where the .bgl's are located) And my FSX.cfg to show: SimObjectPaths.0=SimObjects\Airplanes SimObjectPaths.1=SimObjects\Rotorcraft SimObjectPaths.2=SimObjects\GroundVehicles SimObjectPaths.3=SimObjects\Boats SimObjectPaths.4=SimObjects\Animals SimObjectPaths.5=SimObjects\Misc SimObjectPaths.6=D:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\MyTraffic\MyTraffic\Aircraft But STILL no AI shows in game?! What am I doing wrong?! Edited June 16, 2016 by Lukemeister
mutley 4,497
Hi Luke, I have just reinstalled this program into my FSX installation. The only thing I can see different is your path to MyTraffic, mine is I:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\....... Of course your top level folder may be Steam, but worth a check? .. and obviously you have the traffic slider up! This is what I get at EGCC
Lukemeister 6
Thanks for the suggestion Joe, unfortunately my folder set up is different, i'm definitely pointing it in the right direction, how frustrating. Thank you all the same!
brett 2,314
Try changing this line, Local=D:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\MyTraffic\MyTraffic\Scenery to, Local=D:\MyTraffic\MyTraffic\Scenery

Lukemeister 6
Guys, i'm really sorry to complicate things but I uninstalled MT6 and did a fresh install, using the recommend directory which is now C:\MyTraffic Professional\MyTraffic My fsx.cfg now reads SimObjectPaths.0=SimObjects\Airplanes SimObjectPaths.1=SimObjects\Rotorcraft SimObjectPaths.2=SimObjects\GroundVehicles SimObjectPaths.3=SimObjects\Boats SimObjectPaths.4=SimObjects\Animals SimObjectPaths.5=SimObjects\Misc SimObjectPaths.6=C:\MyTraffic Professional\MyTraffic\Aircraft My scenery.cfg now reads [Area.137] Title=MyTraffic Local=C:\MyTraffic Professional\MyTraffic\Scenery Active=TRUE Required=FALSE Layer=137 Basically because MT6 is now on a different hard drive I can't really shorten the paths. I'm so frustrated with this I might just ask for a refund. Now verification email for the dev's forum either. I have also tried disabling FSX default AI in the configurator but no success. Any more ideas? Thank you for suggestions so far.
Lukemeister 6
Problem solved folks. I had WOAI bgl's still in the traffic.bgl folder. I thought there must be a conflict as I had tried every single path variation possible. Thank you for everyone's time once again.

Lukemeister 6
Thanks Joe! I must admit I had a sense of achievement when I got it working, these things are sent to test us I suppose
needles 1,013
Top notch Luke. Don't you just love it when you manage to figure it out, whatever it is. Like Joe said, it's good for the forum and the flow of things if everyone would let us know when a problem has been resolved. Cheers.
