brett 2,316
Haha, at least ATC gives you a larger separation. Nice shots Wayne, and don't worry about being the only pilot out there that has made a bouncy landing.
wain 879
Thanks Brett...I also think I have worked my isdues with not descending..I have recently done 5 flight and on 2 I flew straight past... didnt get the glidslope captured call and on looking more closely at info on screen and on FP I was to high on both.. so seems like a schoolboy error by me.. still learning at 50... brett 2,316
Use the charts and flight computer to get a better understanding of altitudes at each waypoint along the descent and approach. I don't know about the Airbus but doesn't it include a descent profile for pitch and speed at each navaid, staying ahead of the aircraft makes the flights much smoother. wain 879
It shows your alt and speed at given points I think...just have to pay more attention...whole different ball game in these but really getting a kick out of it.. shame the other half dont get it.. she said and I quote you spend a lot of time on that flying game unquote..tch.. brett 2,316
Take her on a date and fly her to Paris, then bring out the champagne and strawberries.
Captain Coffee 2,030
Great idea, but impress her with a private jet...flying your date on a commercial flight is so Lower Deck. The home recliner and in flight pampering would be more immersive as P-jet furniture for the flight over for your picnic in Paris.
