Just a few shots from  todays flight, quick one up north of the border, managed to miss all the rain........landing was a bit bouncy but I do still show thwe 'L' plates front and backkkk....

Thanks Brett...I also think I have worked my isdues with not descending..I have recently done 5 flight and on 2 I flew straight past... didnt get the glidslope captured call and on looking more closely at info on screen and on FP I was to high on both.. so seems like a schoolboy error by me.. still learning at 50...

Use the charts and flight computer to get a better understanding of altitudes at each waypoint along the descent and approach. I don't know about the Airbus but doesn't it include a descent profile for pitch and speed at each navaid, staying ahead of the aircraft makes the flights much smoother.:)

It shows your alt and speed at given points I think...just have to pay more attention...whole different ball game in these but really getting a kick out of it.. shame the other half dont get it.. she said and I quote you spend a lot of time on that flying game unquote..tch..

Great idea, but impress her with a private jet...flying your date on a commercial flight is so Lower Deck.

The home recliner and in flight pampering would be more immersive as P-jet furniture for the flight over for your picnic in Paris. :D
