UKJim 502
This is what the inspection found after I got the plane down - notice the bolt on the bottom image is missing - eeek!
brett 2,316
Not easy to fly in that situation, glad you made it down safe. I remember seeing a video Rosario posted once when it happed to him, you can find it here.

UKJim 502
Was in a rush so didn't do the walk around Serves me right. I spotted another one of these earlier on in the night luckily during a walk around but unlucky for me I had two of these in one night haha.

Captain Coffee 2,030
I skip the walk around only if the "hangar" reports Excellent or Like New condition...how I tend to keep it...even then I do a "scan around" with external views to make sure all the ties are off and such. Not sure if that will catch a rag in the front scoops?? I found that my A2A cherokee cylinder compression in #1 and #2 were about 10% lower than 3 and 4 this morning...pfft...I had Sparky replace the seals and did a partial rebuild, then replaced the oil and filter, air and fuel filters while I was at it. Why not? I tend to pay for aircraft repairs all the time in Airhauler for what the AI do in the way of abuse, I figure I can treat myself to a flawless plane. So, yeah, never had anything but a flap failure from deploying overspeed...my bad...just meant I couldn't stow them and didn't affect my landing...lucky. UKJim 502
Yeah I have never had flap failures or anything like that, I have had bolts missing and a rag in my engine, but other than that nothing. I am waiting for the fuel to be contaminated, so at least then I know what it looks like
