ddavid 149
Jaws - the Revenge I saw this cheap DVD version of the last of the Jaws films on sale at the local hypermarket, and, as Michael Caine is my all time favourite actor, well, I just had to, didn't I.... When Pam and I watched the fim, we just couldn't beleieve how awful it was - even the bits where Jaws has a snack were hilarious. Anyway, at the end of the film, MC has to rescue the female interest and he finds that she is about to become Jaws' latest meal: So, he tells his companions to: and ditches the twin engined Beech Duchess (you tell me, Fred!) alongside the boat: Well, I won't spoil the ending for you, just in case you haven't seen this brilliant film! Suffice it to say, that the wooden acting prevented any of the participants from drowning..... :mrhappy: By the way, have any of you tried ditching? I had a go in the Airpane Heaven Hurricane - I turned reality up to 100%, and got these shots.... Coming down, slowly.... Tail feeling the water Skimming the surface And coming to rest Just a bit of fun - not as stately as the Empress, but a bit more exciting....... Cheers - Dai. :eyebrow:
mutley 4,498
Thanks for the heads up on the film Dai :mrhappy: Do you re-enact all the dvd's you watch ? :eyebrow: Still, I like the shots well done. [Note to self, don't let Dai take the controls if we go flying together] Cheers
mulletman 0
Great stuff, looks like a lot of fun. and ditches the twin engined Beech Duchess (you tell me, Fred!) alongside the boat: I think its a Cessna 310. Although the 3 passenger capacity is bang on, the Beech 76 Duchess has a high T-Tail, and as far as i can make out, this one doesnt. The cockpit also looks more like the 310 as its more of a slit than the half bubble style of Beechcraft. It also has wingtip tanks and im not sure if the 76 was ever fitted with them (although it may have been) Beech 76 Duchess http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beechcraft_Duchess http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1168514/L/ Cessna 310 http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1183685/L/ http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1185806/L/
ddavid 149
Reckon you're right, Fred - the Cessna 310 looks a pretty close fit - pity the original in the film sank! We'll likely never know...... Cheers - Dai. :mrhappy:
