dodgy-alan 1,587
Had to do a charter run through Djibouti earlier today, decided to drag out one of the rarely flown NAMC YS-11 turboprops for the job. These Japanese built aircraft were built during the 60s and 70s but today very few remain airworthy. Most that are are Japanese Military variants. The YS-11 is similar in configuration to the British HS-748 but somewhat longer putting it into the Viscount size. Most were powered by Rolls Royce Dart engines though one version used American GE-T64 engines. Of the 180+ built , 20 were lost in accidents . The last Japanese civil versions were retired in 2006 as the aircraft no longer met strict safety requirements. This is a freeware FSX model and for the most part is really good. my only gripe being the prop textures at some angle, however I can live with that given the rarity of this aircraft. There are several different liveries and it has an excellent VC. Well worth finding.... Thanks for viewing
Captain Coffee 2,030
Nice set, thanks for the look Al. Looks like a stretched and swelled Metroliner pumped up to F27 size...and looks like a good workhorse. Not a bad VC for a freeware, but I'm too picky these days to pick it up, and room on the SSD is PReeeeciouuuussssss.
J G 927
It looks like a great piece of freeware, and great screenshots too. Were they any military versions? Just how good is the VC in terms of operating switches etc.?

I have the African package and Olympic package, there are others available but you need the FS2004 model installed first. My two are stand alone that work in both mediums. The VC has many clickable switches and systems and is very usable. They are readily available from most FS supply sites.
