We were down there last week, spent 2 hours at in the Cad West Car Park, saw nothing, as soon as we pulled out a Tornado came barrelling down the valley! Sods Law at it's best!:(

At the far end of the lake you can see the pub, these two were taken from that pub car park, looking towards Cad West.

All in all we had a great holiday in North Wales last week.

Thanks for posting Alan. This is something I absolutely must do. 

 

I guess it would help to know the schedule, when they are likely to be running the loop. Possible my RAF pilot contact might know the best time. As I say, he's a voyager pilot now, the big stuff, but I guess he might be able to advise.
