UKJim Stream Starting Soon

Recommended Posts

Just watched your Twitch video on the Connie flight.  Starting those engines was a nightmare but well done for sticking with it.

She looks a beautiful aircraft to fly.. I can see why you are so taken with her.

Look forward to your next stream.. when do you normally schedule them?

When Jim was on final approach I was on the edge of my seat - and I'm not joking. But it was a superb landing.

Agreed.. it looked for a moment that it was going to be a hard one, but deftly handled.

Jim - when's the next forary into the blue yonder?

I stream every Monday evening at 7pm UK time. I also do other unplanned streams too.

Best bet is to follow on Twitter and follow the twitch channel too.

Sorry if that last message seemed a bit blunt I was on the way out when I sent it.

I'm planning to stream Monday at 7pm UK time and also Wednesday evening similar time until late.

I'll post on twitter if the plan changes but hopefully it won't.

Thanks

Jim

Great trip tonight Jim.

Fantastic scenery, and nice to see the Commamche (note for my xmas list).

Shame I missed the last day of the orbx sale, would have been nice to get Darrington.

I thought it would be a nightmare trying to get clear for a 7pm start but it actually made a mundane Monday eve into a memorable one.

Look forward to catching some more feeds soon.:thum:

Thanks for popping by and I look forward to seeing you in stream again soon.

So another planned stream for tonight - flight sim action with some other bits in between.

If you're interested then pop along for a chat...

I also suggest activating notifications for this topic for future posts :) Or even easier, follow on Twitter or Twitch.

Look forward to chatting with some of you.

@UKJim watchedone of your connie vids the other day, looking very good, I keep hovering over the buy button on this one, but not sure, is it really manageable to fly, what I mean is are the Ai crew members there and helping make life easier for you? I know any A2A model is well worth the money but I am wondering if it's not to much to take on as there isn't much automation.....does the FE look after the engines well or will I need to keep an eye on him?.....cleaned some extra windows yesterday so 'connie' fund is flush but don't want it gathering dust...also any issues with it in v4?

cheers for the replies, hopefuly....

I have deceided against the TFDI717 for the time being...

I would say it has its charms and has unique features from the 40's but not the kind of aircraft where you can leave it to go eat dinner.:D It has a couple of minor niggles that won't affect your enjoyment and A2A always keep up on their updates.

cheers guys, I think I will be tapping the buy button.....

As above really - the FE is great and looks after the engines. Unless there's an emergency or something and then you will have to go land lol.

No issues with v4 as it's fully compatible.

I say for for it :)

cheers Jim, away for Bank Holiday but will purchase upon return.....

If you have watched my connie video that is as basic as it gets tbh. But if you get bored, you can turn off the FE and do the job yourself. I've not done that myself because I'm lazy but at least it's there if one wishes.

Let us know what you think after you get a flight in :)
