Ivun_freinds 10
Hello! I would like to introduce you to my newest company and my first company in Nomad mode! I started at EGBN Nottingham airport in a leased TBM850. I've already done 2 short flights and am currently located at EDWK Klagenfurt airstrip. Our next flight will be from EDWK to ESGK carrying 948kgs of Shrimp!http://prntscr.com/ijoe1e Our cruise is going to be FL270, expecting a 1h 20m trip Lovely bird, It's a late evening at 11:05 pm http://prntscr.com/ijofh3http://prntscr.com/ijofur A quick taxi and we're ready for takeoffhttp://prntscr.com/ijoh5a And we're airborne! Barely missing the trees 30m from the runway. Enroute to Sweden!http://prntscr.com/ijoiei Cabin view isn't bad for the passenger seat, I prefer having cabin lights below 5000ft in the dark. Now let's hope I turned off the autopilot before going back here! http://prntscr.com/ijoj4f We're above 5000ft so that means that cabin lights can go back on, the weather is nice but it's a bit windy.http://prntscr.com/ijok5u Lovely viewhttp://prntscr.com/ijolbq I hope I strapped the cargo down well enough because we might be in for a flying bouncy castle.http://prntscr.com/ijomdt I love the TBM850, It's my favourite single-prop aircraft after the Cessna C208B with the PC-12 and C182 Skylane shortly after for Airhauler.http://prntscr.com/ijonb1http://prntscr.com/ijooch At cruise and we're about to cross the Danish Straits, time to hop in the back, relax and enjoy the view,http://prntscr.com/ijoqedhttp://prntscr.com/ijor2j Crossed the strait into Sweden, 70nm to gohttp://prntscr.com/ijp628 Time to descendhttp://prntscr.com/ijp9nr On Short finalhttp://prntscr.com/ijpe9h Touchdownhttp://prntscr.com/ijpep1 And Shutting down, 21.000 Euros richer, just 72000 left to pay off my lease I hope you guys like my first flight report on here. Thinking of joining the AT7W with my trusty TBM 850. Let me know what you guys think! (I did prntscr links on purpose, as I noticed that I cannot see pictures on posts before 2017). Sincerely Ivan
dodgy-alan 1,587
Good to have you aboard Ivan, Whilst no doubt you had a good flight the pictures are barely visible. It may also be preferable if you were to show them directly to the page rather than via links.

Because that was the only job available and it's pretty low paying, but enough to cover the fuel costs and landing fees. Let's hope EHLE has better jobs
brett 2,315
Good luck with the new company Ivan, I didn't click on all the links but hopefully Lightshot allows third party hosting and it wouldn't be to hard to edit the post.

Thank you Brett, by the time of this writing I've done 4 more flights, nothing really interesting. Unfortunately, the weather isn't cooperating.

Ivun_freinds 10
So I currently have enough money to lease either the PC-12 or King Air 350i (both carenado). But I'm also enjoying my TBM850 Specs TBM 850https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SOCATA_TBM#Specifications_(TBM_900) (you can take 14kts away from the speed and reduce range by 200nm. I adjusted the .cfg to match the payload of the TBM900) Specs PC-12https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilatus_PC-12#Specifications_(PC-12NG) Specs B350I https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beechcraft_Super_King_Air#Specifications Cheers, Ivan
Captain Coffee 2,030
Remember to keep some bank reserves for a rainy day...for instance, when you careen off a wet ramp, or into a wet hangar. Nomad is fun if a bit lonely, no Ai pilots to keep company nor buffer the accounts. Congrats on your rapid expansion, pretty impressive for Nomad, that Biscuit run helped no doubt . I am still in my starter A2A PA24 Comanche in Nomad, set up for Pax...I haul one pax up front with me, and a box of cargo in the back seat per run, and don't make much at it profit wise...just a way to tour the country without ever running a dead header leg. Cheeers. Matt

Cheeers. Matt Hey Matt, Yeah I've been flying non-stop for the past 3 days. about 9 hours a day, picking high fee cargo to small airports. One was a 700nm flight to Courchevel (risky!) that payed about 43 grand. Not bad for the TBM850. It's almost due for its A check in about 7 hours.

I am planning to put it to immediate use, transferring the TBM850 back to the lessor will also earn me some. Cheers, Ivan
