ddavid 149
Hama's U.S. Coastguard Hovercraft Thought I'd share this with you...... Downloaded Hama's hovercraft from: http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads- ... tails.html Took it for a trip around St Bride's Bay (where else?!) - nice interior: But then, in a moment of madness, I pulled back on the stick, and..... There we were, buzzing the Pembroke - Rosslare ferry! I'm sure there's an explanation for this - and there was a big splash when we 'touched down' :mrhappy: Thanks to Hama - comments welcome. as always. :mrhappy: Cheers - Dai. ddavid 149
Ben, Hama's instructionsare pretty sparse: Installation: Just unzip the file and send the Flight Simulator 9 folder to the Microsoft Game. Then, asked overwright? reply yes all, that's all. and I recommend the setting of aircraft realism is easy :-) Sorry , Wipers could not controll, although it is not raining. I think I used Addit!Pro to install the hovercraft into FSX, but as its FS2004, you should be O.K. Have fun :!: Cheers - Dai. p.s. It not raining here in Pembrokeshire, also.... :mrhappy:
mutley 4,498
Just as a heads up here, I had a mail from Hama, who cannot speak English very well therefore has not made a post himself, just to say that the hovercraft was never designed to work in FSX. But from what he says I cannot help but think he is working on one. I know he made changes to the speed boat in my Monaco post to stop it taking off! Dai, I know it was posted as a joke as we talked about it before you posted, you just never know who's watching Cheers
ddavid 149
Take your point, Joe - last thing on my mind was to belittle what has obviously been a lot of work. And, you were right, I was right off the scale on speed :poster_oops: Consider my wrists slapped  Cheers - Dai.
