wain 879
One of my daughters bought me a ticket for a visit here last weekend, 4 of us went, had a good wander around looking at the various things on display. Had a good time and they do seem to be adding stuff, descent coffee shop there to, not sure on the price as it was a gift. I still can.t beleive how small Concorde is, and the cabin just doesn't look high end,I do remember seeing her before at Heathrow when I was in the Army and thinking 'is that it?' but it's a big part of our aviation history, especially here in Bristol. Anyhow enough waffle here are a few pictures, sorry I can't remember what they all were....... sorry about the quality but they were taken on my phone, a previous visitor told me you couldn't take pictures but we had no issues on that front...hard to believe those last 2 had ceilings of around 16000ft, must have been incredibly noisy and cold, also rather scarey I would have thought and all the time trying to avoid being shot down, brave pilots..... brett 2,315
You have a wonderful and thoughtful daughter. Although those old bi-planes must have been a bit scary in the day it was overcome by the very sense of adventure many people still have today and we are better off for it. Thanks for the shots and hope you had time to really take it in and enjoy the finer points.

dodgy-alan 1,587
We were in the area last week, we have friends in both Portishead and Filton. The one in Filton used to work for Bristol/BAC many years ago.
