dgor 0
Dave lives in a place like that! That TileProxy stuff is amazing, I can pinpoint the exact location of my house! :mrhappy: . Wish I had FSX to run that. I can pinpoint so many places now, it's surprising how different it looks from the air. Dave :-)
mutley 4,498
That's cheating Dave, luckily I said no prizes :chuckle:
allardjd 1,853
Someone (Churchill?) once said that Britain and the US are two people separated by a common language. Quote But who lives in a place like this!? (Sorry John, Joe & Wayne and any young folk you probably don't know this expression )
ddavid 149
Now then England and America are two countries separated by a common language. George Bernard Shaw Irish dramatist & socialist (1856 - 1950) Does that clear that one up? Cheers - Dai. :mrhappy:
mutley 4,498
Hey John, The expression was from a TV show called Through the Keyhole I didn't think you would know it :mrhappy:
mutley 4,498
OK then a random place, where is this? Again, no prizes!
mulletman 0
:mrhappy: Nice shots mutley. That TileProxy stuff certainyl is realisitic, although i will stick to using the proper stuff for that particular area. Thanks for those  By the way, i presume all this uses default terrain mesh -and you have the horizon terrain mesh installed for this area.? I can see the valley that the railway line cuts through, that i was amazed to see in the horizon scenery.
mutley 4,498
Fred, as you know I have all 3 Horizon sets and I have left their mesh enabled to get the best terrain. As I said in an earlier post, one off shots like these are great but the refresh is pretty poor so it's definitely VFR in a helo or light aircraft, the upside of course is it is world wide. I'm glad you liked it, if anyone else would like a shot just PM me with your postcode (or zip code) and I will see what it comes up with. :mrhappy: Cheers Mut
